What is ForgeLab?
ForgeLab Analytics is a data station for operating executives. It reads your financial documents, scores the health of six core metrics, identifies operational bottlenecks, generates candidate solutions, and tracks which completed tasks actually improved the numbers. The aim throughout is a wider EBITDA margin — and the cash that comes with it, free to spend on R&D, reinvestment or anything else you choose.
How long before I see anything useful?
The first read on your metric health arrives as soon as our review team has populated your figures — it does not wait for a quarter of data to accumulate. The bottlenecks weighing on your EBITDA margin, and the moves against them, follow from that first picture.
What deepens over time is the comparison. Scoring against your own history and measuring which completed tasks moved the numbers both get sharper the longer you run. Since the retainer can be cancelled at any time, you are never committed to waiting for that.
How much work is this for my team?
Very little. Your team never keys figures into the platform — you hand over your financial documents and our review team populates everything from them. There is no implementation project, no complex data migration and no software for your staff to learn before the first results appear.
The work on your side is deciding what to act on, and telling us when your next set of figures is ready.
Who inside my company needs to be involved?
One person to authorise the engagement and one to hand over the financial documents each period — often the same person. Your controller or finance lead does not need to be seconded to a project.
Beyond that, involvement is whoever you want reading the results and running the tasks. Some clients keep it to the owner or CFO; others open it to operations leads.
What happens to my data if we stop working together?
The terms for deleting your data are agreed in writing before access is granted, so nothing about the exit is left to be negotiated after the fact. You keep your own unredacted records throughout, since we only ever hold the redacted copies you send.
How will ForgeLab handle my data?
You keep the unredacted copy of your financials; ForgeLab receives a redacted copy with the relevant metrics marked. Your team never keys figures into the platform — our review team populates them from your documents.
Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and access is limited to the team members who need it to deliver the service. It is never sold, shared or given to any third party, as set out in the agreements you sign.
On termination of the Contract your data is deleted, and deletion is confirmed to you by email. Data handling terms, confidentiality obligations and governance documentation are agreed in writing before any access is granted.
Is there a trial?
Yes. The first month is free. You submit your figures, receive your first read on metric health, bottlenecks and recommendations, and pay nothing during that period.
If you cancel before the trial ends there is no charge at all. Billing begins only once the first month has passed.
Is a commission fee mandatory to pay?
There is no commission fee. ForgeLab charges a single cost efficiency assurance retainer of 0.33% of average revenue. Efficiency gains you realise are yours in full. An improvement made once carries on returning year after year, long after the work that produced it.
Is there any guarantee the service will be useful?
Most likely yes — and the pricing is the reason. At 0.33% of average revenue, the retainer costs a fraction of a single point of EBITDA margin — low enough that it is difficult for a year of continuous metric scoring, bottleneck identification, generated solutions and task impact measurement not to be worth more than it costs.
You will also see it for yourself. Every half-year a financial overview is issued as a PDF inside the application, setting out the margin it helped you recover, what the platform brought in and what it cost you, so the return is a figure you can check rather than a claim you have to take on trust.
What we will not do is promise a specific result. The value you get depends on your business and on what you choose to execute.
Does ForgeLab take responsibility for execution failures?
No. Acting on any recommendation is optional and remains a management decision. ForgeLab is not liable for the outcomes of decisions you take or for how they are carried out inside your company.
How is everything handled legally?
Before platform access is granted we require proof of business registration, board or shareholder resolution documents authorising the engagement, agreed data governance and privacy terms, and — most importantly — a signed contract with our organisation.
